Brain Cysts

Cysts in the brain are fluid-filled cavities that are usually congenital and often harmless. In many cases, they cause no symptoms. However, depending on their location and size, they can put pressure on surrounding tissue and lead to symptoms like headaches or dizziness.

MRI is highly effective in detecting cystic changes, as the fluid inside the cyst provides a clear contrast to the surrounding tissue.
