The most common spleen diseases include accessory spleens, where additional spleen tissue occurs outside the normal spleen structure, splenic cysts, fluid-filled cavities that typically cause no symptoms but may indicate other health problems in some cases, and splenic hemangiomas, benign tumors composed of blood vessels. These conditions can vary in size and location and can be precisely examined using imaging techniques like MRI.
